a) Consultation bookings and contact requests

When you book a consultation or submit a contact form we collect:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Service or topic of interest
• Preferred date and time
• Any notes you choose to include

b) AI chat conversations

Our website includes an AI chat assistant (Bella). When you use it we process the messages you send and the responses generated. If a booking is completed through the chat, the full conversation transcript is included in the booking notification sent to our team. If you close the chat without booking, the transcript may be emailed to our team for quality and service improvement purposes.

c) Visitor information

When you visit our website we automatically collect:

• IP address
• Approximate location (city, region and country — derived from your IP address; street-level precision is not available)
• Device type (Desktop, Tablet or Mobile)
• Browser type
• Page URL visited
• Referring URL (if you arrived via a link)

This data is used solely to send an internal notification to our team and is not stored in a database.

5. Data Retention

• Booking and contact details: retained in our email inbox for up to 2 years, then deleted.
• Chat transcripts: retained in our email inbox for up to 12 months.
• Visitor notification data: sent directly to our team via WhatsApp and not stored on our servers.
• Chat history in your browser: stored in your browser's localStorage under the key bh_chat_v2. You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser data.

6. Cookies and Browser Storage

We do not use tracking cookies. We use the following browser storage:

• localStorage (bh_chat_v2): stores your chat history locally in your browser so conversations persist between visits. No data is sent to any third party from this storage.
• sessionStorage (bh_visited): a temporary flag set when you first visit the site during a browser session, used to prevent duplicate visitor notifications. It is cleared automatically when you close your browser tab.

Google Fonts is loaded from Google's CDN. Google may log the request (font file and your IP), but does not set cookies or track you across sites for this purpose. See Google Fonts privacy FAQ for details.

7. Your Rights Under UK GDPR

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
